The AP Tests
Advanced Placement tests are only administered once a year. The tests occur over a two-week period in May. Most students who take an AP test do so for college credit, typically upon completion of an AP course. As such, many students who are preparing for an AP test will also be receiving tutoring services in that particular subject, which will indirectly prepare them for the AP test. Students at Vertex typically do not take a practice AP exam until February or March, after they have completed the majority of the curricular areas covered.
